I have been constantly writing letters to the media before the invention of the "INTERNET" regarding legalising gambolling in India, and now through "INTERNET BLOGS".
"20/20 CRICKET" has made "ILLEGAL GAMBOLLING" a legal means of earning money for the "PARALLEL ECONOMY!", running into crores of rupees as per the media's reports and depriving "HONEST GAMBOLLERS" like me of "LEGALLY BETTING" on Cricket to "EARN A LIVING!"..
"HORSE-RACING" is the only legalised gambolling sport in India with a back-breaking "VICE-TAX" of 26% making it a ridiculously losing proposition to the addictive gamboller or "INVESTMENT GAMBOLLER".
"SPORTS BETTING" legalisation businesses in India akin to "LADBROKES" or "BETFAIR" , to name some of the biggest in the "SPORTS BETTING INDUSTRY" could create jobs besides enormous revenue to the GOVERNMENT. At present all the "ILLEGAL BETTING REVENUE" generated is winding into the coffers of MR & MRS & MESSRS "XYZ!?" with "ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY!".
Akin to the "1992 Economic Liberalisation" revolution that has put India on an economic Superpower path, the same will happen once "SPORTS BETTING" is "OFFICIALLY LEGALISED " in India.
BETTER LATE THAN TOO LATE.
