Saw the play "Begum Sahiba" in the first row seat at “Sophia Bhabha Auditorium” on Sunday(29-11-2009) and was taken aback by the lack of an audience although the play was heavily advertised on newspapers as the costliest. It was a very bold play touching a taboo subject on “Sexual Permissiveness in Indian society” and hence i feel that the audience got restricted as some would definitely find the play offensive viewing it with their families.

The city based National Center for Advocacy Studies has called for the documentary and short films which are related or based on human rights as well as social justice issues.
